在医疗行业，颠覆性技术动因是指那些能够根据疾病的病因而非身体症状提供精确诊断的技术。这些技术包括分子诊断、诊断成像以及普遍存在的电讯技术。如果没有精确诊断，治疗只能依靠所谓的直观（经验）医疗，这需要受过高级训练、费用极为昂贵的专家凭借直观经验和模式识别来解决问题。当疾病模式（规律）变得更加清晰，医疗便进入了循证医疗时代，它也可被称为经验医疗——累积的数据说明某种特定的治疗方式相对好于其他方式。然而，只有当疾病可以被精确诊断时，对每个病人都可能产生理想疗效的治疗方法才能产生并得以标准化，我们将其称为精准医疗。

大多数颠覆存在三大推动因素：简化技术、商业模式创新、颠覆性价值网络

颠覆性技术的动因常常是解决行业内最简单的问题

颠覆是指事物变得更简单，让人们更负担得起；技术则指将材料、组件、信息、劳动和能源等投入在结合在一起以实现更大产出价值的方式。

商业模式四个组成元素：价值主张、实现目标客户群价值主张所需资源、流程和盈利模式、利用颠覆性的技术改变整个行业。

医疗服务商业模式颠覆式创新的三个层次：问题解决模式、增值服务模式和辅助网络模式。

问题解决模式指对非常规化的问题进行分析，然后推荐解决方案。某些咨询公司、广告公司、研发组织和法律事务所都属于这种模式，他们向消费者传递价值主要依赖的是公司资源，最重要的是公司雇员。综合医院的医疗诊断和大部分专科医师诊所的工作都属于问题解决模式——直觉医疗

增值服务模式：增资服务模式企业会把资源投入（人力、原材料、能源、设备、信息和资本）转化为更高价值的产出。其传递价值的能力依赖于生产环节和设备，专注于卓越流程的增值服务模式的企业能稳定的以低价格提供高质量的服务和产品只用于增值服务模式的医院和医师诊所通常能以低40%-60%的费用提供医疗服务，比如迅捷诊所和分钟诊所、外科专科、眼科诊所、心脏病医院、癌症康复中心等都属于增值服务企业

辅助网络模式：众多辅助网络模式金鹰的最主要产品是顾客见得相互依存，网络平台的客户本身正式产品的关键部分，辅助网络模式通常靠收取会员费或交易费用盈利。内科医生线上社区sermo和一些疾病关空间口已经起步推出面向服务提供者的协调网络，一些项目为慢性病的治疗提供了有效的商业模式

高品质出自合理的整合，低成本出自专注化带来的成本锐减

在直觉医疗领域，性能和可靠性将一直是医疗行业对品质爹定义和竞争基础因为可获得的最佳医疗服务都不够好，在这种情况下，去最好的医生和最好的研究型医疗中心就代表获得了最好的医疗服务品质。当初精准医疗领域的效率和可靠性得到保障后，方便、快捷、价值低廉就成了医疗服务品质的定义。

舍弃这种高成本的综合医院，转而建立新的增值服务模式诊所和分工协作些问题解决模式医院，暂时缺乏足够的合理性和说服力，尽管转向这些新的颠覆是商业模式才意味着真正勇往直前地迈向未来

健康储蓄账户用来支付低成本的经常性医疗费用，达到年度起付线时，保险就会介入。健康储蓄账户在追求健康的同时也能增加财富

只有在整合型医疗服务提供方体系内实现按人头付费才有效，而目前整合型医疗服务提供方只覆盖美国人口的5%。在非整合体系中试行按人头付费，就等于把独立职业者的医生置于一个医生所得及时另一个医生所失的零和博弈中。

几乎在每个先进行业的初始发展阶段中，最初的产品和服务都是复杂且昂贵的。之后，人们通过使各种产品和服务变得更加简单和便宜，进而颠覆初始阶段的产品体系，最终使其大众化。

在零阶段，出诊的医生和护士都是到患者家中提供医护服务，在第一阶段中，医疗服务集中在综合性医院之中，但慢慢的，医疗产业将开始其分散化过程。未来的增长阶段将以家庭诊所为特点，之前必须在医院才能进行的最简单的工作将在家庭诊所里展开，而医院则会开始从事之前在家庭诊所内进行的最简单的工作。
